Hunter to Harbour History Tour

Get amongst the action on newcastle's famous harbour, the largest coal exporting port in the world. Explore the wildlife sanctuary that is the Hunter Wetlands Centre and learn about how Newcastle was shaped into the city it is today at Newcastle Museum.

  • Enjoy Devonshire morning tea as your explore Newcastle harbour before heading up the iconic Hunter River with Nova Cruises. Marvel at the dramatically changing landscape from city hustle to the serenity of the Kooragang Wetlands.
  • Lunch is served at Spoonbill Cafe overlooking the unique and picturesque wetlands. Join a guided walk through the beautiful property to discover how this amazing site has been transformed from wasteland to a Ramsar listed wetlands of international significance.
  • Learn about Newcastle's rich natural, industrial and cultural history with a guided tour of the wonderous Newcastle Museum. 

Depart 10am Lee Wharf Pontoon, Honeysuckle, Nova Cruises

12pm - 1.30pm Hunter Wetlands Centre, Shortland

1.45pm - 3pm Newcastle Museum, Honeysuckle

Bookings & Availability: Scheduled cruises depart the last Thursday of each month. Private group tours are available Wednesday to Friday (Min 20 guests)
