The Visitor Centre and the grounds are now open 7 days a week 9am to 4pm
Cafe open 10am to 2pm
We are excited to be able to welcome visitors again but there is also an element of concern, so we are taking it slowly. Dipnetting is now available as are canoeing and buggy tours but with a limited capacity.
IT IS A CONDITION OF ENTRY THAT YOU REGISTER A NAME AND CONTACT NUMBER ON ARRIVAL USING A QR CODE OR PAPER FORM.
TO PROTECT OUR VOLUNTEERS, MEMBERS AND VISITORS IN THE CURRENT COVID CLIMATE, WE ARE ADVISING THAT VISITORS FROM THE GREATER SYDNEY REGION WILL NOT BE ADMITTED TO HWCA. WE HOPE YOU WILL UNDERSTAND AND WILL COME AND VISIT OUR WONDERFUL WETLANDS SOMETIME IN THE FUTURE.
WE APOLOGISE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE.
Please help us keep visitors and our volunteers safe and stop the spread of COVID 19 by:
- social distancing
- no large gatherings (max 20 per group)
- maintaining good hand hygiene
- staying at home if you have cold/flu symptoms or are feeling unwell
PLEASE BE AWARE:
There is a limit of 20 people inside the Visitor Centre and 32 people seated in the cafe at any one time. This means you may be asked to wait outside if this number is exceeded.
Hand sanitising and cleaning is only available in the Visitor Centre and at the playground toilet. Elsewhere on site, including the children’s playground, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR your own and your child/children’s health and hand hygiene.
Our volunteers are doing their best to follow the ever-changing COVID 19 regulations to keep us all safe. Please give them your support.
