HWCA IS a COVID SAFE BUSINESS

The Visitor Centre and the grounds are open 7 days a week 9am to 4pm
Cafe open 10am to 2pm

We are delighted to be able to welcome visitors  but ask that you follow COVID Safe practices.

REGISTER ON ARRIVAL

From Monday 23 November, under new NSW Government rules, any businesses that do not record contact details of customers/visitors via QR codes or other electronic forms will face strict penalties.

The easiest way to register is using a mobile phone. But if you don’t have one or yours is an older model, don’t worry, there are ways around it.

Some new model mobile phones can simply take a photo of our QR code to link to a registration page.

Otherwise you will need to download a free QR scanner app to their mobile phone. There are quite a few available including one from Services NSW.

If you are unable to download an app to your phone you can send an SMS (message) to register.

For those without a mobile phone our reception volunteers will be able to register you.  Please allow extra time till we get used to this process.

VISITING THE Art Space

Visitors to the exhibition must practice social distancing and we recommend the wearing of face masks. There is a limit of 25 visitors in the Centre at any one time so at busy times you may have to wait to enter. Weekdays are generally quieter than weekends so if you can come during the week, please leave the weekends for those who can only come at that time. Thank you for your consideration and patience.

STAYING SAFE

Please help us keep visitors and our volunteers safe and stop the spread of COVID 19 by:

  • social distancing
  • no large gatherings (max 20 per group)
  • maintaining good hand hygiene
  • staying at home if you have cold/flu symptoms or are feeling unwell

PLEASE BE AWARE:

There is a limit of 25 people inside the Visitor Centre and 35 people seated in the cafe at any one time. This means you may be asked to wait outside if this number is exceeded.

Hand sanitising and cleaning is only available in the Visitor Centre and at the playground toilet. Elsewhere on site, including the children’s playground, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR your own and your child/children’s health and hand hygiene.

Our volunteers are doing their best to follow the ever-changing COVID 19 regulations to keep us all safe. Please give them your support.
