Breakfast with the Birds & World Environment Day Wetlands Entry
8am Enjoy a leisurely walk around the Wetlands with an experienced guide from Hunter Bird Observers Club. Expect to see a range of our resident wetland’s birds and their bush-dwelling neighbours.
Breakfast will be available after the walk at 9 am in the Wetlands Café overlooking the ponds (optional).
Scopes and binoculars will be set up on the café deck for you to view the birds on the ponds.
Meet in the Visitor Centre carpark at Hunter Wetlands Centre. Please arrive in time to start the walk at 8am.
Bring your own binoculars if you have them. Limited number available on the day.
Cost: $10 Guided walk only – breakfast is at your own expense.

Cancellation Policy
This event will go ahead in wet weather. If rain is forecast please wear wet weather gear. In the case of heavy rain and/or strong winds HWCA will advise via Facebook if the event is cancelled, and a refund will be provided.
Visitors must not attend if they have flu-like symptoms. In this case you will be entitled to a full refund if you advise us of this by email office@wetlands.org.au by 10.00 am on 5 June 2022.
